Southern California Edison (SCE) has notified the City that that it may turn off power during high winds to help prevent wildfires. This is called SCE's Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) program.

If your home or business may be affected, SCE will try to notify you ahead of time so you can prepare.

SCE makes all decisions about these shutoffs. The City of Simi Valley does not control when power is turned off or when it is restored.
