The Legislative Platform is the City of Simi Valley's guide for reviewing new laws at the State and Federal levels. It helps the City decide if a proposed law may affect the community and whether the City should support it, oppose it, or take no position.

City staff use the Legislative Platform to review proposed laws in a clear and consistent way. It helps staff decide when to send letters to lawmakers to share the City’s position.
This process allows the City to stay informed, take action early, and respond to issues that may impact local services, programs, and the community.
