Simi Valley Transit On Demand is a new, on-demand transportation pilot service designed to provide efficient, flexible, and eco-friendly travel options for the community. The service combines the convenience of ridesharing with the cost-efficiency of public transit. 

Passengers can ride Simi Valley Transit On Demand anywhere inside of Zone #1 or can be taken from Zone #1 to one of the various other zones spread around points of interest in the city.

Pick-ups and drop-offs are available at designated locations within the service zones.

If you require accessible seating, you can book a seat using the "Senior" option. You also have the option to add an additional companion traveling with you as a "Regular Seat."
Other passengers can book up to 2 seats using the "General" option.

All passengers in one booking need to travel at the same time and get picked up and dropped off at the same stop.

Simi Valley Transit (SVT) On Demand is equipped to transport wheelchairs and mobility scooters certified by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Bicycles are not permitted on SVT On Demand vehicles. 

You will receive a notification when your vehicle has arrived to pick you up. As a courtesy to other riders and to stay on schedule, the driver will wait for 1 minute before departing.

In compliance with California law, all passengers under 8 must ride in an appropriate Child Restraint System (CRS), such as a safety seat or booster; and all passengers under 2 must ride in an appropriate rear-facing safety seat. Caregivers must provide an appropriate safety seat and install it in the vehicle.

You cannot change your existing ride-booking. However, you can cancel your ride and book a new ride. A trip can be cancelled within the Simi Valley Transit On Demand app, online on the web booking site, or by calling (805) 583-6464. If you have pre-paid for your ride with a credit card, a credit will be applied to your account.

Your ride booking will specify a time window of 10 minutes for pick-up. We advise you to reach your pick-up point 5 minutes before your pick-up window. As it gets closer to the time of your ride, we will send you an updated time of arrival. You will also receive a notification when your vehicle has arrived. Updates are sent via SMS (text) and the Simi Valley Transit On Demand app. Furthermore, you have the option to use the mobile app to track your vehicle's location in real-time.

The Simi Valley Transit On Demand app and web booking site are currently available in English and Spanish.

When you book a ride with SVT On Demand, you are making a commitment to the system and the driver.  A schedule is created to accommodate your trip. If for some reason you are unable to take the ride, we advise you to cancel your booking as soon as possible.
