The Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Section is part of the City's Maintenance Services Division. This team takes care of 321 City vehicles and pieces of equipment.

These vehicles support many City departments. This includes Public Works, Police, Environmental Services, Administrative Services, Sanitation, Waterworks District No. 8, and Transit.

Many of these vehicles are specialized. They include buses, large vans, dump trucks, backhoes, and police vehicles. These vehicles are important for daily City services and operations.
