The Development Services Section is responsible for subdivision and other land development engineering, encroachment permits, and engineering coordination with other agencies.

Functions

Functions include the following.

• Plan checking
• Project conditioning
• Permits for construction
• Floodplain management
• Administration of regulatory requirements (including Stormwater Permit requirements)
• Maintenance of maps and records of improvements within public rights-of-way
• Primary response to public inquiries

Encroachment Permit Application

Various Encroachment Permits may be applied for online on the Customer Self Service Online Portal.  To apply online, you must log in to your Community Access Services account on the Customer Self Service (CSS) online portal.
