The City of Simi Valley maintains a road network of approximately 337 miles of streets. Multiple pavement rehabilitation projects are undertaken on a yearly basis to maintain this essential part of the City's infrastructure.

Projects Under Construction

SV 24-17 - FY 2023-24 Annual Major Streets Rehabilitation Program: Erringer Road (Alamo Street to Cochran Street)

Status: Under Construction (Pending Permit)

• This project includes concrete repair, full-width grinding, new asphalt pavement, and new traffic striping on Erringer Road from Alamo Street to Cochran Street. Access to businesses and residences along this segment will be maintained at all times.

SV 25-23 - FY 2024-25 Annual Minor Streets Rehabilitation Program: Senate Bill 1 (SB1)

Status: Under Construction (Pending Acceptance)

• This project will be funded by the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, also known as Senate Bill 1 (SB1).  This project for the 2024-25 fiscal year will include concrete repair, grinding, new asphalt pavement, and traffic striping.

SV 26-11 - FY 2025-26 Annual Minor Streets Rehabilitation Program: Madera Road (Cochran Street to Easy Street) 

Status: Under Construction - Night Work

SV 26-13 - Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Replacement Project

 Status: Under Construction

• This project for the 2025-26 fiscal year includes concrete repair at various locations throughout the city.

SV 26-21 - FY 2025-26 Annual Minor Streets Rehabilitation Program: Los Angeles Avenue (First Street to Erringer Road) 

Status: Under Construction - Night Work

• This project for the 2025-26 fiscal year includes concrete repair, full-width grinding, new asphalt pavement, and new traffic striping on Los Angeles from Frist Street to Erringer Road.

SV 26-32 - FY 2025-26 Annual Crack Seal Program

 Status: Under Construction

• This project includes crack seals along Sequoia Avenue, Erringer Road, Alamo Street, Royal Avenue, and Lost Canyons.  Crack seal is an preventative maintenance technique that reduce the amount of premature road failures and extend pavement life.

SV 26-15 - FY 2025-26 Annual Minor Streets Rehabilitation Program: Senate Bill 1 (SB1) - Phase II (Asphalt)

Status: Pre-Construction

• This project will be funded by the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, also known as Senate Bill 1 (SB1).  This project for the 2024-25 fiscal year will include cold milling, new asphalt pavement, utilities and traffic striping.

SV 26-25 - FY 2025-26 Annual Minor Streets Rehabilitation Program: Alamo Street (Gage Avenue to Erringer Road) 

Status: Bid Phase

• This project for the 2025-26 fiscal year includes concrete repair, full-width grinding, new asphalt pavement, and new traffic striping on Stearns Street from Gage Avenue to Erringer Road.

SV 26-28 - FY 2025-26 Bus Stop Improvement Project

Status: Pre-Construction

• This project for the 2025-26 fiscal year includes concrete repair, bus shelter installation, concrete bench removal, and steel bench installation on various locations throughout the City.

SV 26-31 - FY 2025-26 Annual Minor Streets Rehabilitation Program: Sycamore Drive (Sharp Road to Avenida Simi and 118 Freeway to Cochran Street)

Status: Design Phase

• This project for the 2025-26 fiscal year includes concrete repair, full-width grinding, new asphalt pavement, and new traffic striping on Stearns Street from Sharp Road to Avenida Simi and 118 Freeway Cochran Street.
