Calling All CERT Graduates!
The Ventura County Fire Department is offering refresher training for all CERT graduates (individuals who have completed all seven CERT training modules and have received a CERT certificate.
CERT Refresher training was originally scheduled to take place on March 21, 2020, however, due to COVID-19 Pandemic concerns, the refresher has been postponed until Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The training will include 4-hour classroom instruction followed by hands-on drills and scenarios.
WHERE: Ventura County Fire Regional Training Center, 102 Durley Avenue, Camarillo, CA
WHEN: Saturday, Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Check-in at 7:30 a.m.)

Morning Refresher (Classroom and Hands-on) Training by CERT Instructors:
(60 minutes per session plus 10 minute break)
- ICS Table Top/Documentation
- Fire / HazMat
- Medical Treatment
Afternoon – Exercise and Educational Presentations.
- Exercise Scenario – (90 minute scenario plus 30 minute hot wash & break)
(105 minutes plus 15 minute break)
- American Red Cross (ARC) – Disaster Psychological First Aid.
- Office of Emergency Services (OES) – Overview of county disaster information and resources.
