The granting of a permit for either a Permanent or Temporary Sign is to ensure that signage presents no adverse distractions to motorists and pedestrians, communicates effectively, and promotes the aesthetic and environmental values of the community.
Signs should be prepared by design professionals (e.g., graphic designers) whose principal business is the design, manufacture, or sale of signs, or others who are determined by the Director of Environmental Services to be capable of producing professional results.
