The Simi Valley Business Forum

Each year, the City of Simi Valley hosts its Business Forum as a free service to business owners in Simi Valley. If you own a business, or are thinking of starting a business, the Simi Valley Business Forum will provide you with vital information and equip you with the tools for your business to grow and succeed.  The Forum includes a continental breakfast, speakers, networking events, educational seminars, and technical workshops repeated throughout the morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. and typically concluding at 12:15 p.m. All workshops, parking, and continental breakfast are free

The 2015 Business Forum was held Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley. The Forum featured the below series of dynamic workshops and connected business owners to representatives of SCORE, the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County, America's Job Center, Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, and the Small Business Development Center. The itinerary for the 2015 Business Forum included topics that were top of mind to the local business community.

History of the Simi Valley Business Forum

The City of Simi Valley hosted the inaugural Simi Valley Business Forum at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center in 2008, attracting nearly 100 business owners.  Since then, the Forum has moved to the Grand Vista Hotel and now attracts nearly 200 attendees for the event.

The annual Forum starts out with a free networking breakfast, followed by a Keynote Address and multiple breakout sessions throughout the morning. Each session/workshop covers different areas of interest to different businesses.  Presenter at Business Forum

Additionally, business advisers and consultants are present during the Forum to meet with and offer free one-on-one counseling and consultations to attendees.  Whether you come for the entire event or for just one session, all members of the Simi Valley business community are welcome at the Business Forum.
