Simi Valley Municipal Code

The on-line version of the Simi Valley Municipal Code has been updated through March 5, 2018.  Copies of subsequent ordinances are provided in the table below.

New Ordinances

The following ordinances, adopted by the City Council after March 5, 2018, have not yet been incorporated into the on-line version of the Simi Valley Municipal Code.

1288  Amending Title 2, Chapter 6 of the Simi Valley Municipal Code relating to the authority of the City Manager to appoint the City Clerk for the City of Simi Valley and reaffirming the City Manager form of government
1289  Amending portions of Title 9, Chapters 9-24, 9-30 and 9-44 of the Simi Valley Municipal Code related to Accessory Structures and Accessory Dwelling Units; and a determination that the amendments are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act
1290 Approving a change of Zoning Classification (Z-S-736); amendments to the Arroyo Simi Greenway Specific Plan (SP-S-28, Amendment #1); and adopting the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program for the property located at 1692 Sycamore Drive

Approving a change of Zoning Classification (Z-S-732); and adopting the Negative Declaration for property located at the northeast corner of Buyers Street and Shopping Lane
 1292 Amending Title 2, Chapter 4 of the Simi Valley Municipal Code, changing the City's Electoral System from an at-large to a by-district system and adopting a map describing the boundaries, identifying the number of Council Members for each electoral district, and establishing sequencing of elections within the districts
 1293 Repealing and replacing in its entirety Chapter 8 of Title 4 of the Simi Valley Municipal Code relating to regulations for taxicabs
Approving City-initiated Simi Valley Municipal Code Amendment Z-S-733 to establish Citywide standards to prohibit outdoor cultivation of personal marijuana plants; prohibit the deliveries of marijuana to residences; prohibit all commercial nonmedical marijuana uses, operations, and activities; and prohibit smoking and ingesting of marijuana in public places; and a determination that the actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act
