City Announces 24-Hour Ballot Drop Box at City Hall

In partnership with the Ventura County Elections Division, a 24-hour ballot drop box for Vote by Mail voters was installed at City Hall on Friday, February 7 near the flag poles.

Voters have several options to return their voted ballot. First, ballots may be dropped off at the 24-hour ballot drop box outside until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, March 3. Voters may also return ballots inside City Hall to the ballot drop box until Election Day, March 3, at 5:00 p.m., or at any polling place on Election Day until 8:00 p.m. A complete list of ballot drop box locations, including addresses can be found at

No postage is necessary to return ballots by mail. Ballots postmarked no later than March 3, 2020 will be accepted until Friday, March 6, 2020.

With all of these options, don’t forget to return your Vote by Mail Ballot for the March 3 Election!
