Businesses seeking full-time, part-time, and/or seasonal employees are encouraged to register for the 32nd Annual Youth Employment Service (YES) Job and Career Expo. The event is scheduled on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at the Boys and Girls Club of Simi Valley. More than 400 qualified high school students, high school graduates, and college students are expected to attend. As an employer, don’t miss this opportunity to recruit and hire local candidates for current or future job openings, network with other businesses, and promote your brand to the community.
We welcome your company’s participation even if you do not have any current job openings. Your presence will provide valuable career exposure to attendees and inform future candidates about your recruiting cycle. Register for this free event online at www.simivalley.org/JobExpo.
The YES Job and Career Expo will also provide an opportunity for local businesses, colleges, vocational schools, and non-profit organizations to educate young adults on career options, programs, and volunteer opportunities available with their organizations. This annual event, provided as a community and business service by the City of Simi Valley and sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley and the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise, is free for both participating employers and job seekers ages 15 to 25.
Businesses, colleges, vocational schools, and non-profit organizations who would like more information should contact Kristin Tignac, YES Coordinator, at (805) 583-6766.
