DESCRIPTION:<p>The Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee was created by the City Council as an ad hoc body to assist in the review, evaluation, and funding recommendations of applications made to the City.&nbsp; The U.S. Department of Housing &amp; Urban Development (HUD) is expected to formally notify the City of its 2026-2027 CDBG Entitlement in spring of 2026.&nbsp; Funds may only be used to provide services to or improve property that benefits primarily persons of low- and moderate-income as defined by HUD.</p><p>This meeting serves as the first hearing to evaluate FY 2026-27 applications for funding.&nbsp; Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.</p>
