A free residential clean-up and recycling day is available to all Simi Valley residents. It will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center located at 2801 N. Madera Road. Simi Valley residents must provide proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or waste and recycling bill with a Simi Valley address. A household may dispose of up to two loads.
Participants are asked to separate recyclables from refuse to facilitate recycling. Loads must be covered during transport to prevent litter. No commercial wastes, commercial vehicles, hazardous waste, electronics, liquids, tires, household batteries, products containing mercury (such as thermometers and thermostats), or fluorescent light bulbs are allowed.
