DESCRIPTION:Get Involved! The Simi Valley Neighborhood Councils are recruiting for Executive Board Member Positions.
The Neighborhood Councils are a great way to get involved and learn more about your community. The City is currently seeking applications from community members who can offer a variety of perspectives and experiences for Neighborhood Council Executive Board member positions.
The Neighborhood Councils meet on a monthly basis to:

Advise the City Council and Planning Commission on resident concerns, development projects, and other matters on which the City Council has specifically requested their input;

Give residents the opportunity to voice their concerns or ask questions about their neighborhood and city; and
-
Give developers the opportunity to dialog with residents and address concerns early in the planning process.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the City of Simi Valley. Successful candidates will be appointed by the City Council to serve a two-year term from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024.
