The Community Resource Coordination meetings began in 2017 and are intended to identify needs within the community and to assist those experiencing homelessness. The City organizes meetings on an as-needed basis to further the community's homeless prevention efforts. Once a topic has been identified, staff will coordinate a meeting with various organizations to provide opportunities to stay informed about new or existing resources available within our community. Information for upcoming meetings, as well as, previously discussed topics are available below. Those interested in receiving meeting and other information related to the Community Resource Coordination efforts are encouraged to sign up to receive email notifications to get the latest information.

Community Projects Grant Review Committee Meeting

Review Committee Orientation

The Community Projects Grant Review Committee (CPG Review Committee) was appointed by the City Council as an advisory body to assist in the review and evaluation of CPG funding requests. The overall requests received routinely exceed the $150,000 available each year.

This meeting serves as an orientation for CPG Review Committee members to focus on their roles and responsibilities in this portion of the review and will include a discussion of the criteria used to evaluate the funding requests. Please note the merits of the individual funding requests will not be discussed at this time.

On May 3, 2018, the CPG Review Committee will have a public meeting to evaluate and make a recommendation on the funding requests received. The recommendation will be forwarded to City Council for consideration at a June meeting.

Interested members of the public are welcome to attend both CPG Review Committee meetings and are encouraged to review the agenda packets in advance. For more information please visit the Community Projects Grant webpage or call (805) 583-6864.
