The City is requesting project submissions for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) makes funds available each year for the City’s CDBG program. The City solicits projects and activities from non-profit and local government organizations providing a direct benefit to primarily low- and moderate-income residents of Simi Valley.
For FY 2026-27, only Capital Improvement applications will be considered. New applications for Public Services will not be accepted during the 2026-27 CDBG funding cycle.
To assist non-profit and local government organizations in applying for CDBG funds, a mandatory workshop will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The application workshop will cover materials related to the application and approval process for the 2026-27 CDBG Program Year.
To register for this workshop, please email Lindsey Scaringe.
