Volunteering provides benefits for both the community and the individual. The community benefits from the service of volunteers, while the individual gains meaningful experience, connects with the community, and achieves a sense of accomplishment by making an impact. Youth volunteers especially benefit from volunteering by gaining job experience, learning new skills, and accumulating volunteer service hours.
Nonprofit organizations interested in participating in the Volunteer Fair should email rfowler@simivalley.org to reserve a free space.
