Saturday, August 23, 2025 is Clear the Shelters, our largest pet adoption event of the year!  More than 250 loving animals will be waiting to become the newest member of your family.  Doors open at 11:00 a.m., but early adoption sign-ups will be from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Camarillo Shelter for those who wish to reserve the opportunity to adopt a specific dog.  (Please note that there will be no online adoption sign-ups on this day.)

All animals will go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea-treated, and will include a free first veterinary visit. Adopters will also receive special gifts courtesy of Hill’s Science Diet and Assemblymember Bennett’s Office.
