Neighborhood Councils are a special part of the City of Simi Valley. They give residents a voice in decisions that affect their neighborhoods.

The City is divided into four Neighborhood Council districts. If you are 18 or older and live in the City, you are automatically a member of your Neighborhood Council.

What do Neighborhood Councils do?

Neighborhood Councils connect residents with City leaders. They:

  • Share community input with the City Council and Planning Commission.

  • Give residents a place to ask questions and share concerns.

  • Help shape ideas about development, safety, and City services.

Why are Neighborhood Councils Important?

Neighborhood Councils give residents a direct voice in local government. They help the City understand community needs and give feedback on projects, zoning, and other decisions.

Meetings

Each Neighborhood Council usually meets once a month at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley, CA 93063. All meetings are open to the public.

Agendas

Agenda packets are available the Thursday before each meeting.
