You are invited to share and showcase your green ideas, programs, and products. The City is accepting Living Green Expo Exhibitor Applications right now! Please contact Brian Chong at (805) 583-6706 for more details about how to become an exhibitor at the 2012 Living Green Expo. Last year's event included more than 50 green exhibitors!

Attendees at the 2011 Living Green Expo participated in all sorts of collection events.  Together, we recycled or reused:

• More than 800 pounds of used household batteries
  
• Nearly 200 pounds of used athletic shoes
• Nearly 200 used cell phones
• More than 300 pounds of other recyclables
  

The Planet Pals Playzone introduces kids to sustainable concepts in a fun way, focusing on the ecosystem and the role that humans, animals, and plants play to make the world go 'round.  Playzone activities include no-cost arts and crafts, games, hands-on activities, and interactive animal shows!

The 2011 Living Green Expo included a free Bicycle Safety Rodeo for kids aged 13 and under (presented by All Pro Bicycles), and included:

The 2011 entertainment stage had everything from environmentally-friendly fashion shows to live musical entertainment to performances from local dance troupes.
