Residents Invited to Beat The Heat at Simi Valley Public Library and Senior Center

During the current heat wave, residents are reminded that the Simi Valley Public Library and the Senior Center are excellent places to escape the heat while experiencing a variety of educational and recreation programs.
The City’s Library is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, and offers an assortment of resource materials, including electronic media. The City’s Senior Center is open to individuals age 50 and above from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Seniors are also invited to enjoy a nutritious meal at the Rendezvous Café 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., registration is required.
